Roach Control

Spray Alpine WSG + Gentrol IGR

1 packet (10g) Alpine + 1 oz. bottle Gentrol for 1 gal. of warm water.

Prepare a small portion

If using kitchen tools to measure, make sure insecticide never comes into contact, directly or indirectly. If it does, dedicate it to insecticide use only and buy replacements.

Use/change into fresh gloves frequently to avoid contaminating kitchen surfaces (cabinet doors, appliance handles, etc.) with insecticide residue.

  • 1 quart of warm water (4 cups)
  • 1/4 of Gentrol bottle (eyeball it as it's hard to measure out)
  1. Move all dishes into the cabinets and all other items incl. appliances/tools out to the patio (Remove floor mats. Clear sink sides. Store everything outside.)
  2. Put on gloves before touching any container that contains or has come in contact with any ingredient. Use the kitchen scale without the plastic tray to further avoid contamination. Carefully move non-insecticide supplies to the patio.
  3. Mix Gentrol and Alpine using small medicine bottle. Dump into the spray tank with warm water, swirl and let sit.
  4. Change gloves if necessary.
Treat
  1. Pull out the fridge & stove and sweep up dead roaches and debris. Check and clean inside of unused cabinets.
  2. While large appliances are out, do a few passes of the spray solution. Spray the floor, adjacent walls, and cabinet sides. Push them back in.
  3. Spray on the edges of the kitchen floor a few times. Watch for pooling water and go lighter in those spots.
  4. Do a light pass on the counter backsplashes. Water pools easily near the sink edges. Avoid spraying around/behind/on the faucets.
  5. Save some solution to spray the bottom and underside of the trashcan.
Clean up
  1. Change gloves if necessary.
  2. After using up the solution, leave out the tank opened to air dry, being careful not to let anything come into contact with the tank or spray wand.
  3. Store all materials under the sink to the left & back.
  4. Turn the heat on and wait 2-3 hours to dry, and move everything back in.
Extra Credit
  1. On dry surfaces, while wearing gloves, apply bait.
  2. Stick on traps on high roach traffic areas. Just use all on hand.
  3. Wipe down high-touch appliance surfaces.
